"Brankec" always finds something interesting on our property

The photo gallery of our orchard presents some interesting facts and the appearance of various fruit-trees according to the seasons. We remind you that there are different beginnings of the seasons; astronomical and meteorological. It is astronomically determined for each year separately and can vary from 1 to 3 days. For example, the astronomical beginning of spring can be March 19, 20 or 21. Below are the meteorological beginnings or, better yet, the beginnings as we once learned in the first grades of primary school. At any time of the year, it is possible for school children of lower grades to visit our meteorological station and get acquainted with meteorology.

SPRING - FROM MARCH 1.

For us, spring is the time of the most intensive work in the garden. Nature is also working at full steam. Fruit trees are budding and blooming and vegetables and flowers are starting to sprout from the ground. Click on "SPRING" for pictures of different varieties of fruit trees in the spring season.

SUMMER - FROM JUNE 1.

Summer is the time of full ripening of vegetables and early fruits. The flowers are in their full glory. The first results of hard spring work are being harvested. Click on "SUMMER" for pictures of various varieties of fruit trees in the spring season.

AUTUMN - FROM SEPTEMBER 1.

The last fruits and vegetables are harvested. Slowly tidying up the garden for hibernation. When all the leaves fall off, young fruits are planted. Click on "AUTUMN" for pictures of different varieties of fruit trees in the spring.

WINTER- FROM DECEMBER 1.
